Soak your feet in lemon juice

Lemon is regarded as a natural exfoliant which can be used to shake off unwanted flecks of debris and dry skins from your feet. Slice a lemon and put them in a small basin with adequate water to cover your heels. Soak your feet for 10 minutes and then slightly scrub the heels with a loofa. For more effective results use a pulp of a ripe banana on the cracked heels after this.

Clean your heel before going to bed

It is good to make it a habit to clean your feet before going to bed every day. Soak your feet in warm water, preferably soapy, for about 15 minutes and use a cleansing mixture such as Vaseline.

Apply vegetable oil

Wash your feet well and apply a hydrogenated vegetable oil or any shortening oil. Wear a pair of thick socks and leave it overnight. Repeat this procedure for a few days and your heels will start showing the symptoms of healing.
