Smartphones has evolved through the time then also certain issues are still there which needs some attention. One of those issue is the memory and to tackle that issue recently SanDisk the leading memory card manufacturer has launched it’s memory card with the capacity of not 32GB or the 64GB, they have launched the memory card with the capacity of 128GB.
This 128GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I memory card is the world’s largest capacity microSD card. SanDisk had introduced this memory card at this year’s Mobile World Congress gathering in Barcelona. They have plan to make it available in the market by May, recently they have announced it for The India at the price of Rs. 9999.
Stuart Robinson, director, Strategy Analytics, Handset Component Technologies said that “SanDisk’s high-performance 128GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC memory card will reshape the way users interact with their devices. Until now, consumers had to spread out their content between multiple products because the memory on those devices was not able to hold enough data in one place. This 128GB microSD card is going to be popular as the preferred removable storage option, giving users fast, secure and reliable access to their personal data archives”.
As prior to the launch in The India Rajesh Gupta, Country Manager India, SanDisk Corporation said that “The new SanDisk Ultra microSDXC card again demonstrates how SanDisk continues to expand the possibilities of storage so that consumers can benefit from our latest technology advancements. With 128GB of removable storage, consumers will enjoy the freedom to capture and save whatever they want on a smartphone or tablet, without worrying about running out of storage space”.
With this SanDisk has revolutionized the memory card market and has enabled the smartphones to capture more HD quality videos and images. SanDisk also have other thing in their bag for Android users where they are launching a new version of the SanDisk Memory Zone app (available on the Google Play store in beta) which lets users easily view, access, and backup all of their files from their phone’s memory in one convenient place. They will also add a new feature in this naming OptiMem, that allows Android users to enhance their phone’s internal memory by automatically transferring some of their old photos and videos to their microSD card.
